Bleargh. Haven't blogged in weeks. Alot of interesting stuff happened lately but didn't have time to really blog much about it.

AOS - HCI
I think this is probably one of the best things that happened in my life. It was really enriching and the friendships we made would probably last forever. The AOS peeps are really the coolest bunch and it was a blast hanging out with them and working with them.

We're planning for a reunion at like Hawaii or someplace in a few years time and I'm really looking forward to it.

POP

Finally, after four years of NP, we got our POP and passed down the files to the next batch. I got like an addidas shoe bag from Kenneth. I really liked it, must find some time to thank him. NP was a rough but amazing journey.

We ran in the open without berets and we did PT and Drill for the last time as a squad. We were totally running like retards around the school in Full U but it was a memorable experience. Thank you, NPCC, for all the memories, even though it was hard work at times, but it was really a fun ride all these years.

This week's CHAOtic!

Been super busy lately, so I didn't manage to blog for the past week. I'll probably be doing a weekly update from now onwards. This is gunna be a really long post here.

CHAOS Final - 6 Aug

The finals of the competition was on wed. We had to generate a 10 min presentation about the 4 aspects (Bio, Chem, Phy and Math) and we decided to embark on a really ambitious idea about a skit with the Men In Black and time travel and making advertisements for this "TV programme".

As usual, we did our last min stuff and piah-ed all the way till 1am on Tuesday and had to come back to school by 6am! It was really intense work we did. But we managed to triumph over a few really good schools and got 1st Runner-Up, behind RI. Not bad I must say. It was really good experience. And Mr Tan C.G. was realy nice to work with. I must say he's one of the teachers I enjoyed working with.

Here, I'll thank all the teachers who helped with each segment of the presentation, vetting, the teachers who were kind and understanding in postponing our tests, Mr Lee F.Y. who isn't in the school right now and last but not least Mr Tan C.G.

Pre-National Day - 8 Aug

The few of us had to attend the EP3 appreciation ceremony in the morning. It was rather hilarious to see when some people we absent for the ceremony and others had to take the prize for them. Alot of people went bonkers when Jun Rong took the prize for Hong Liang.

We went bowling after the whole event ended. Then we walked to Xi Ning's place for food and we camped at his place to play badminton and basketball.

Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony - 8 Aug

The opening ceremony was spectacular. The 2008 drums was an impressive start and I think the whole concept of the 4 greatest inventions of China was an amazing way for China to go "Hi, World." The lighting of the Olympic torch was probably the best moment of the whole ceremony. Now we know the Chinese have the people, brains and the money to set up such a powerful demonstration. Very captivating.

National Day Parade - 9 Aug

Went out with Xi Ning to buy some stuff. I was actually supposed to buy my iPod in-ear headset but completely forgot. Bumped into Alan on the way there. Then Kae Yuan smsed to ask if we wanted to have dinner together but apparently apart from the 3 of us, everyone else decided to have a TV Dinner.

I got home half-way and switched on the tv for the NDP show and i got sick of it after 5 minutes. Beijing Olympics completely owned it. Ah well, we don't really have the money or the creativity in my opinion.

Post-National Day Holiday - 11 Aug

Been slacking at home today. The Academy of Science (AOS) people have arrived just this morning at 1 am! We're going to the boarding school later to meet them and catch up with them. Should be really cool. Haven't seen them for 8-9 months now.
